Paralives enters Early Access carrying the considerable expectations that come with positioning itself alongside life simulation giant The Sims. Following initial evaluation, the game already demonstrates a strong and promising foundation.

Character creation proved immediately enjoyable, offering flexibility and personality while successfully producing one of the most advanced incarnations of Dingus McRawkin yet witnessed on stream. More options of course would be better but it did very well.

Beyond creation tools, the world itself leaves a positive impression. Exploration consistently introduced new characters and interactions, helping the environment feel populated and active in a way that encouraged continued curiosity.

At the same time, the current state of the game clearly reflects its Early Access status. While the systems are functional and enjoyable, many would benefit from greater depth and expansion. Relationships, careers, and other long-term progression mechanics currently lack the robustness needed to sustain the experience over extended periods.

Even so, the overall direction appears strong, and the foundation is solid enough to justify future returns as development continues.

Paralives is therefore placed in Cryostasis.

The town is growing.

The residents need more time.

Pronouncement: Placed in Cryostasis pending further development.
