Foundation returned to the stream today with its first expansion, Harvest Festival, and after a long absence it was good to return to the cozy game.

I hadn’t played in so long that I’d even missed the game’s 1.0 release. There’s clearly been plenty of refinement since my last visit, and getting back into building a medieval settlement was a good time.

Harvest Festival also seems like a strong first expansion. It seems to do well to bring additions to the games content from start to end, including cabbage farming early on, while providing a new endgame goal to work toward, and much more in between.

There’s a bunch of the expansion left to explore, and I’m looking forward to digging further into both the DLC and everything that’s changed in the base game.

Foundation is very much Alive, with another stream already planned for Tuesday.

The harvest has begun.

There’s still plenty left to grow.

Pronouncement: Still alive.
