Anno 117 returns with The Hippodrome, and calling this one Resurrected would require pretending it ever died.

The centerpiece is the massive new Hippodrome monument, complete with chariot races and new systems built around it. It fits into the existing end-game as a second enormous project to work toward once the Patricians tier is unlocked, and another reason to lose hours inside an Anno run. We are curently in the middle of building our first Hippodrome still and going onto a 4th stream of it.

The accompanying update is welcome too, bringing a collection of balance changes, tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements that make an already excellent game a little better.

Unsurprisingly, diving back in has been a blast. The Hippodrome is exactly the kind of addition that makes returning to Anno easy, and this round with ANno 117 has been pure enjoyment.

Anno 117 is therefore recorded as Alive.

Technically.

Anno is immortal.

Pronouncement: Immortal (well, Alive for record keeping purposes)
