Planet Zoo 2 arrived with some renewed excitement on my part after enjoying Planet Coaster 2 recently, but after eight hours across two streams, simply keeping the game running proved to be a challenge. Repeated freezes made playing frustrating, while seemingly everything requiring online connectivity failed to work. That included Franchise mode, one of the game’s major attractions, which I couldn’t even properly explore. What I did manage to see was encouraging. The improved graphics look great and driving around Wildlife Preserve maps even brings a little Jurassic World Evolution to mind.
