Docked arrives from Saber Interactive carrying familiar logistical DNA. Much like its distant cousins SnowRunner and RoadCraft, the game focuses on the satisfaction of moving heavy things from one place to another and takes place in a post disaster world.

The setting shifts the action toward seaside operations, trading muddy backroads for docks, cranes, and cargo management. Though this game is less of an open sandbox the other games are, at least early on.

Across roughly four hours of play the game increased our tasks, game mechanics and variety. You are helping clean up and even save the family business, the port, after a hurricane. A big focus is increasing how much cargo you can move through the port in a mangement game style setting, while doing plenty of manual work yourself to help pay for it.

Unfortunately, the session concluded earlier than planned due to some kind of storm hitting my internet and causing network failures mid-stream.

Docked remains firmly Alive, with further work shifts already scheduled.

Pronouncement: Still very much alive.
