SnowRunner has been around for years now and I don’t expect anything major from their DLCs at this point. More maps and more trucks, maybe a new mechanic or two. Season 17: Repair & Rescue is that.
Set in a fictional “Western Asia” location this DLC brings two new maps and two new trucks.
On stream we got to:
- Checking out most of the two maps
- Obtained one of the trucks plus two upgrades
- Checked out their “new” missions
Maps are great, good variety. First map has lots of asphalt, second hardly any. New truck is decent, like a smaller Tayga. The new missions aren’t that new, just a tweak on the same old missions, they are fine. Overall the main missions start forcing you to second map right away, wasn’t a fan of that really.
Will I keep playing? It’s SnowRunner, of course. Will always get time in when possible or the urge strikes.
Pronouncement: Still very much alive.
