Planet Coaster 2 returns to the stream nearly two years after its original release, when about eleven hours left the impression of a sequel that was mostly more Planet Coaster with water rides added to the mix.
Fourteen more hours across two streams this week produced a much better result.
Whether the game has improved significantly since launch or the original judgment was simply too harsh, the management side felt better this time around and was enjoyable while building a new park proved much easier to get lost in.
The return was boosted by the new Silver Screen Pack we received a key for from the developer along with purchasing the Toybox Pack on sale. The movie studio additions in particular bring some fun new options to park building, while the DLC released since launch suggests the game is getting some quality content worth exploring.
Whatever changed, the game or my opinion of it, Planet Coaster 2 was simply more fun the second time around.
Planet Coaster 2 is therefore recorded as Resurrected.
The gates reopen. Expect to see again.
