No Man’s Sky has a long history of being declared done on my stream, surely it will be retired from rotation. Each time, it quietly waits.
The Remnant update introduced an unexpected addition: trucking and debris hauling across planet surfaces. Combined with Twitch Drops and a new expedition, the gravitational pull proved effective.
No Man’s Sky keeps adding more and more content and this time they surprised with driving. While I initially scoffed at the flatbed Colossus and the freight flopping around in the back I quickly changed my mind. The items in the back don’t easily come out but they will, and the threat is just enough to drive a little more careful than the mad dash usually found in No Man Sky ground vehicles. Wanting to keep your cargo actually brought some normal cross country driving tendancies. The closest you will get to SnowRunner on alien planets right now.
On stream, we got through the whole new community expedition in one day which was a bit of a disappointment although we probably aren’t fully done with it yet. We still need to get the vehicles going in our regular save.
If this site were older there would be a few Dead notices for NMS on this site, and probably a few Resurrected. So let’s start with this.
